We are a working studio and while we love to geek out on chairs, we often need to focus on tedious restorations, making instructional videos, and so many other things. Rosie also needs a quick walk during the day. We also teach offsite and do demonstrations in and out of town. We appreciate a heads up before you stop by for official business.

Silver River Center for Chair Caning is located on the ground floor at 32 N Main Street in Weaverville, NC. Park on Main St, or turn down Florida Ave just past the shop and park in the gravel lot designated for our building. Weaverville also has two public lots “at the clock” or several spaces just past Maggie B’s across the street.
Weaverville has a fun downtown with a few breweries and plenty of yummy local restaurants. The art scene is abundant in this small town with Crucible Glassworks, Miya Gallery, Artisans on Main, Magnum Pottery, the bi-annual Weaverville Art Safari, and Art in Autumn. Take a walk in the nature park across the street or around Lake Louise on a sunny day.
